not just for FS-...

Postby FelixFFDS » Mon Jun 18, 2012 7:45 pm

Just took it up in Aces High (air combat game), and mapped some of the more usual keys.... (pressing the flap button up/down is easier than Q and W...) .. also flaps, trims,

I'm looking forward to the day when we can have customizable labels on the app....

So far. no troubles noted. Still have to play around to figure out what I can use the sliders for.

good to know. some other things you can use the sliders for would be cowl, radiator, spoilers, carb heat, etc, as long as the sim supports using an axis for these controls. i use the black slider for radiator in rise of flight :)

I've tested:

FSX (obviously)
CFS3

rFactor (Pausing, changing LCD screens on the dasboard)
iRacing (Cycling through status boxes like lap times, relative pisitions, tire temperatures etc)

Finally I've tired Battle of Britain 2: Wings of Victory, but this old venerable sim seems unable to handle more than one controller. :(

Good info, thanks! Interesting that you tried it with racing games. Our next app will have something to do with that ;)

Somebody already used it with the falcon4.0 or another F-16 simulator?

i'm not sure if anyone has, but it should work. this post i found says you'll need a certain patch to enable multiple controllers.

Another variant could be developed for Rail Simulator 2012 which is all keyboard controlled.

Yeah, the possibilities are endless. I could use the two mfd's from DCS A-10 8-)

Any ideas if your "new" products will be stand alone or in-app purchases to touch pilot one?

Cheers

i know, i would love to do DCS panels. lot of work for a very tiny market though. not sure if it's economically feasible.

we will definitely have other standalone apps, and we are also looking at offering a few in-app upgrades in TP1, like twin-engine.

I have just been using it for the first time.

I did it in Rise Of Flight.

The app runs flawlessly but just one showstopper for me is that I'm an onliner and I get a lot of connection losts when using the app.

I think a usb connection possibility would do great for a lot of us.
